Perfect Tiling
Got a couple of queries...hope you can help. Can travertine be used on a fireplace. I know there is more chance that it will stain which the customer is ok with but is it more prone to cracking due to the heat with it being a soft stone. Next...are decoupling mats suitable for outside use. Looked at a doorstep last week that has a crack in it. Customer doesn't want to renew the step and I won't tile over the crack knowing that it could just go through the tiles. If so...what is the best. The last mat I used was the GMAT...which had the known fault and is now in the process of being looked at for resin repair. Thanks.
