Hello,
New here, been reading tons of posts and found some great info on this site .
Half way through my first go at tiling, got the bathroom walls done leaving a frame of mosaic for a mirror and im about to start on the floor, then finally piece in around the bath and make a bath panel to tile.
Couple of questions...
When fixing the mirror, would you seal the edges between the mirror and mosaic with grout or caulk?
Installed size will be 1180x563mm, fitting a heat pad then sticking to the wall with suitable adhesive (not Silicon).
Ive put in UFH with Anhydrate screed for the whole house so were planning on tiling throughout. Problem is we have cracks in the screed across all the door ways as i was told to expect.
Do i need to put an expansion profile (or will Silicon do?) directly over the crack?
My problem here is the cracks are central in the door way [----] but the door sits to the room side [__].
Ideally id want my tile changes/ expansion strips to be hidden by the door when closed but then the joint would be an inch or 2 away from the cracks.
Thanks for any advice
Neil
