Hi mate you will need to break down quote ie

Remove existing tiles and make good substrate £250
Disppose of old tiles £125
Supply adhesive and grout and tile 9m2 £380
Total

And add such thing as the price quoted is subject to the substrate not requiring major work and the tiles are not natural stone otherwise the quotation will have to be reviewed to cover extra costs.

Just a rough idea also state that payment is due within 7 days of completion.

put it this way mate

if there are tiles under the units you will need to remove the units in order to remove the tiles etc, charge for this
id charge at least 25 a m2 to remove the old flooring
2 bags self leveller to make good
2 bags flexirapidset charge top whack for this, i charge retail at topps prices for my materials
2 bags grout
9m2 of tiles to purchase
25 a m2 to lay the tiles
replace units if any
replace plinths, kickboards and renew if needed
dispose of tiles

30 remove units
215 removal
156 flexi
29 grout
215 at least 25 a m2 to buy tiles as got fuel costs for going there and back
215 to lay the tiles
30 to remove units
30 to instal units
20 per kickboard including trimming
30 to dispose of tiles
50 to dispose of substrate

it gets even more expensive if you have to remove more units as the substrate will have to be removed, dont be too greedy though as thy will only pay so much.

if like mines they sent a man out and he told me what the job was worth, i agreed and his company send a cheque out within 7 days, they then claim back from the ins co

remember tho that there is no guarantee with what they class as own builder, its now your problem, if it goes **** up and leeks then its down to you

at the very least id be asking for 1020 to do this work, extra if you have to remove doors and trim them

put tit his way my kitchen flooded and i quoted for the work, i got 1850 less my 100 excess, that was for 16.5m2

always quote over to include the excess and also charge for the insurance quote also, standard 30 quid lol
