Is it my imagination or what? I have been fixing some British Ceramic wall tiles today, and the sizes of them are hurendous.
I had to give up with spacers in certain area's and use the trusty old wedges, as after you had put one tile up - the next one would be either 1mm to 1.5mm bigger or smaller. Something I have and I'm sure many others have got used to over the years, but I'm sure wall tiles nowadays, especially the mid-priced ranges are getting worse.

Anyone agree? - Or am I going mad !! :mad2:

Yup I hate them, Did a BUPA care home a few years ago and that was a nightmare with sizes and shades.

I can't think of a time when ant British tiles were any good, if they weren't shaded, had wonky border transfers, they were usual bent or cupped.

I agree, hate to say it, but british tiles generally are awful, I fixed some johnson 150x150 recently that were like bananas, had to make sure bow was same way on all tiles!

Not just british tiles i have problems with porcelanosa cerranco range the kubic negro and amersfoort beige are ridiculous not only are they diffrent sizes but they are a nightmare to cut (they keep shearing off)
