Is my Mr Henry kaput?

Gents (and ladies) I'm currently grinding a floor with my Henry doing dust control... And it's stopped working.. The power light is still lit but no suction or sound.. any ideas?

Also.. any other recommended vacuums for use with floor grinding for around £100?

check your air filter in the top housing, Neumatic who make that range of hoover are considered one of the best, De Walt do one but wouldn't like to guess how much they check it on a site called toolden I find them quite competitive on power tools

Is it a high/low version?

If so it could be the pcb.

It'll probably be the switch, mines gone a bit hit and miss turning on too, don't think they're really cut out for hard graft..

Hi mate, these vacuums have a thermal cut out on it so when they overheat they will just stop. Happens to mine sometimes when grinding floors, you just need to wait for it to cool down and it will start up again!

I bought one of this and have used it for dust removal on floor grinding a is great

If your grinding more than just a few meters you could do with a dust seperator to stop the vac getting all the dust

Yeah I've just had a look and seen one on machine mart for thirty quid.. Gotta be worth a punt!
