Is something missing from my tile cutter?

I was happily cutting away when suddenly the little rod that has the blade on it decided to pop through the hole. It goes all the way through so there's no pressure can be applied.

I assumed something that holds the rod in has pinged out but I can't find anything.

Anyone know if I'm missing something please?

A manual one I borrowed in a box that's falling to pieces but it looks like Star 40. No instruction manual so I don't know what pieces there are to a tile cutter.

if you twist it clockwise, it should tighten the rod with the cutting wheel
