Last week I received an e-mail from what I thought was a customer wanted their kitchen tiled,I returned the e-mail saying that I would be interested,last night I got a phone call about this so called job and it was from a company called Service Magic he told me that they can find me work for a fee of £12+vat for every job I get he wanted more info about me and my bank details,I said call me back in 24 hours,went on line to find out a bit more about this company and there is so many people being ripped of what happens is you get an e-mail about a job and they take the £12 out of your bank account and the job is bogus ,in one instance a chap had his own web site and they had redirect his e-mails and change his phone number to theirs so any one seeing his web page and wanted work end up going thru Service Magic and he paid them, needless to say I sent them an e-mail saying no thanks,has any one of you chaps come across this company I suppose in the present climate they are raking it in.
