Oh! Spent so much time looking at all the other defects in 2 rooms that I forgot to check floor. The plasterer skimmed over Aquapanel. I only found out because when I tapped the wall in the shower the plaster fell off revealing the name 'Aquapanel' !!!!

When I got home I checked the pics I took and saw that it was chipboard on the floor. I just wanted it confirmed. Thanks for that lads.

Going to add Hardibacker to my quote now!

Well if we're gonna be pedantic Andy it's fresh and recycled softwood chips bonded together with resin under pressure at a high temperature, known as particle board! Hahaha
