they went by sea taken four weeks to get there sent from the uk . the us can be a nightmare as there lorry cant take more than 17 ton .sent a container 26 ton that would turn up in the uk no problem on a battered old lorry in the us no way nice and shinny lorry
but will not take any weight

containers from china are quicker to the us than containers from china to the uk but the ones to the uk cost less the ones to the us cost more for less time at sea
