Why are jobs - I'am looking for a tiler etc - be open to guests to view?
800m in Sheffield would be a good job for a forum member especially when the E mail is posted and it had 5 guests viewing!

Yeah guests most definitely shouldn't be able to view. Arms members would be ideal, but most people who advertise these jobs don't have arms access. If we moved them into the arms, they wouldn't be able to see them. Then again, they are closed threads so do they need to view them?

So people who post these jobs won't have permissions to post them if there guests though.
Is there a way mum setup forwarding rules like with emails that will auto move the post to a restricted leaving a link behind perhaps? Then anyone that clicks the link (link which takes you to the board its moved too) will have to have the correct permissions to view it?

So the moderators have persuaded Dan to change the job thread . Nice to know a suggestion can be acted on so quickly. Excellent for the Arms + members.

We'll see how it goes John. It should be spot on, basically, if you don't have arms access, you can't see any advertised work. Now the guests and lurkers can't get the chance of any work, which is how it should be. If you don't contribute to the forum, you don't benefit from it.
