starting a zara store on monday 1000m2 back of house 300x300 porc tile
2000m2 shop floor 900x400 the spec i dont get 2mm joint and no grouting, any thoughts much appreciated
back of house is being grouted

Had this years ago on a tower records they asked me not to grout it finished it paid up including the grouting lol two weeks later I went back to see it and it had been grouted

yep joints will get full of crap, and loads of chipped tiles when pulling there trolleys around the floor., there is zero tolerence on the floor aswell ,
oh well someones smart idea give them what they want

Have you spoken to the specifiers or you've just seen it on a spec sheet?

They may be doing something else with the gaps through a third party??

I think you've had a result. Someone paying you to lay a floor and not grout, thats what i use to dream of. Just make sure you get it in writing thats defo what they want and crack on. Then when someone walks dog c*** in and all down the sides of the tiles, Mr "i wear roll neck sweaters and mummy owns a pony" architect will realise the poop he's in...literally.
