Anyone noticed he didnt even put the cut up to the ceiling ? He just left it off and they painted it.
The light is operated by a shower pull switch which turns the extractor fan on for about 45 seconds....then the fan goes off ?????

That's normally a setting that can be changed within the fan. If the customer takes the cover off they should find a dial of some form (might be a screw) which sets the length of time.

Or it did in a fan I had once.
