Kerapoxy - first time help

Hi guys,

well i have finally purchased the kerapoxy design grout with silver glitter

our kitchen fitter is also doing the tiles (floor tiles and splashback). He has never used epoxy based grout before - should i be worried?

any tips to help the job, any special precautions we should take?

also in terms of the glitter volume the pack states between 2 and 10 % - now for a 3kg tub thats from just over half a bag to 3 bags of glitter (each glitter bag is 100 grams) - how much glitter would you guys recommend?

if your man has never used epoxy before may i sugest that you use a tiler not a kitchen fitter as that is what we do (tile),not being funny here but the glitter grout is bad enough to use without it being epoxy, epoxy is a total different ball game

the kitchen fitter may be very proficient in tiling. But has not used epoxy.

surly every question posted on this forum can't be replied with "get a tiler"
on the plumbing forum, you will get good advice on everything, except anything to do with gas.

Hi chalker , as I said I wasn't being funny with my statement, it was just a beware thing I was meaning, as we all know you have to know what you are doing with epoxy , no offence to anyone intended

For a start have you seen any of the kitchen fitters tiling, as for epoxy grout a different ball game.
