Kerapoxy Grout Setting Time

Hi guys
I am just about to go and grout an 18m2 floor polished porcelain with kerapoxy with added glitter. I was wondering how long I should leave grout to set before washing. I am a bit worried in case I leave it to long and it is a bugger to shift. I have emulsifying pads and plenty sponges. Should I change water quite often. Also will there be grout haze once finished. Is this easy to remove. Thanks Michael

wash it as soon as youve applied the tub. If you can, use warm water to clean it, I use sponge cloths instead of sponges as they just clogg up and have to be chucked. It can get a bit smeary once cleaned but I wipe down with acetone. Mapei do make a cleaner to shift epoxy grout if its dried too quick. A heat gun will also soften harden epoxy grout to make it easier to scrape off. Always wear nitrile gloves when using it as its nasty stuff.

make sure you only use kerapoxy design with mapeglitter!! plenty of water and plenty of clothes or sponges, scotchbrite pads are essential!

Yeah it is in nail polish remover, but you can buy pure acetone

definately. Use white emulsifying pads, try and get them online if you can as they'll be cheaper.
If you get any on your skin clean it off straightaway as it'll burn. Some people are sensitive to it, so keep yourself covered. I am which is why I always bang on about it lol
