hi lads, thanks for the advice about tiling over the existing floor tiles. the customer has now decided he wants granite tiles laying so would be keen to now what adh you'd recommend thats both flexible and good for granite. also what brand and type of grout and sealer you think i should use. tiles are black 30x30 10mm thick wants a grey grout ?? cheers. David.

BAL Single part flexy, assuming it isn't a timber floor and I can highly recommend Mapei Ultracolour Plus. Wouldn't be galaxy Black you are laying by any chance?

thanks grumpy, dont know the name ill find out. which make of sealer would you recommend mate??

I used Lithofin StainStop MN on the granite floor I did. Also used the same on a marble floor recently. As a test I coated an offcut piece of marble and checked the moisture absorption against an untreated piece. Remarkable effect I have to say. Much akin to a well wax car, the water beads on the surface. Granite doesn't take much application as it is much harder and more moisture resistant than marble. Just follow the instructions on the tin and take your time.

righto mate. thanks. does anyone know if ctd stock this sealer. found one near to me and plannig to visit on tues.
