Going to be on the knees for the next few days re-tiling the bathroom floor. There seems to be a large variety of knee pads out there:Topps Tiles Knee Pads, Gloves and Safety Glasses

What do you use? Is there much of a difference. I have bad knees from years of playing football, what would you reccomend?

Cheers
Dave

Im with garretridge. Had two opps on my right knee, the second one a complete knee reconstruction after a footy injury. My knee always has a dull pain especially in the cold weather. Id have given up by now if it wasnt for the alpro pads. Alot of other chaps prefer gel inserts so personal preference and comfort but its the big red ones for me!

Once knew a guy a guy who used to tile sitting on a big soft medicine ball.Looked stupid but he said it worked.I tried it and kept falling off.I couldn't stop laughing.
Barhalt make great kneepads.Get the ones with soft fronts as you don't want to scratch the tile whilst grouting.Double them up for extra protection and try not using the straps I think they are just a pain.
