large porcelain tiles

Hi all, I have been out to price up a conservatory floor, 26m2 using 50mmx50mm, porcelain tiles.Not sure what price to charge per m2.Normal price I charge for ceramics is £18m2. Floor is concrete & not to bad, Should I level to be on the safe side. Any advice and tips is most welcome.

Check your levels constantly when tiling a large format tile,they do have a tendancy to lead you up or down if not paying attention.The bigger sizes don't follow the shape of the floor as with smaller tiles ...so keep checking across,360 degrees with a long level....Gaz

Sounds like fun 26m2 with 50mmx50mm tiles!!!! Would certainly be charging more than £18m2 for that, and porcelain too. 400 tiles per square metre or are they on bigger sheets? If not you will be spending some time laying them. I'd be looking at well in excess of a grand + mats for that.

Exactly!! Might get a tad tedious as well, addy would go off before you got half way through each metre
