Hi,

We are hoping to lay slate tiles on our kitchen floor which has been extended, it is currently a mixture of self leveling compound and quarry tiles and we have been advised that laying them on top of the quarry tiles would be a bad idea. Taking them up isn't really an option so we wondering if there could be a way around this? Maybe something that sits between the two sets of tiles? We don't want the floor level to raise too much though.

Any advice appreciated

Rich & Sar
