layout question

i have a wall to tile in my kitchen , i have a window at the right hand side and an extractor hood somewhere near the middle , due to the tiles i have bought i cannot make both right , i can make one perfect and one look good ( cut wise ) , which would be best , make the centre of the wall right ( extractor hood ) or the window :mad2:

You deffo need to center the hood... that is more a focal point than the window..

I would follow Dave's advice always centre the focal points

standing at the door whats the first point you see then make your decision thats how i would do it but what do i know i'm a baker lol :rolleyes2:

I'd use the cooker hood as the focal point, but remember that you can have the vertical "grout line" or the centre of the tile in the middle which may help with the tiles around sockets and the window.

As most peeps have said above. The hood, if thats the focal point then thats the bit you need to focus on and get right.
