Hello all, I put up some info on the Mapei range of powder adhesives a little while ago and thought Id add to that with a run down of their levelling compounds...

Laytexplan
Two-part levelling and smoothing compound, consisting of special cements (Part A) and synthetic rubber laytex (Part B). From 1-10mm.
Where to use: For interior levelling and smoothing differences in thickness of 1 to 10mm on new and existing substrates to prepare them for any type of flooring installation. Suitable for underfloor heating. Anhydrite screeds must be primed first and the laitance removed.

Workability: 20-30 mins (dependent on site conditions)
Light foot traffic: 1.5-2 hours
Bonded floor covering: After at least 12 hours

Ultraplan Eco
An ultr-fast hardening, water-mixed truly self-levelling & smoothing conpound for thicknesses of 1-10mm. Very low TVOC content.
Where to use: Foe levelling differences in thickness from 1-10mm on new/existing substrates. Internally it can be used over concrete slabs, cement, anhydrite, terrazzo, ceramic, underfloor heating and natural stone, where an excellent resistance to loads and traffic is required. All substrates, prior to application, require priming. Anhydrite screeds must have the laitance removed.

Workability: 15-30 mins (dependent on site conditions)
Light foot traffic: 3-4 hours
Bonded floor covering: 12 hours

Ultraplan
An ultra-fast hardening, water mixed, truly self-levellinf & smoothing compound. For 1-10mm.
Where to use: Foe levelling differences in thickness from 1-10mm on new/existing substrates. Internally it can be used over concrete slabs, cement, anhydrite, terrazzo, ceramic, underfloor heating and natural stone, where an exellent resistance to loads and traffic is required. All subfloors, prior to application, require priming. Anhydrite screeds must have the laitance removed.

Workability: 20-30 mins (dependent on site conditions)
Light foot traffic: 3 hours
Bonded floor covering: After at least 12 hours

Ultraplan Maxi
Un ultra-fast hardening, water mixed truly self levelling &smoothing compound for thicknesses of 3-30mm.
Where to use: For levelling difference in thicknesses from 3-30mm on new/existing substrates. Internally it can be used over concrete slabs, cement, anhydrite, terrazzo, ceramic, underfloor heating and natural stone, where an exellent resistance to loads and traffic is required. All subfloors, prior to application, require priming. Anhydrite screed must have the laitance removed.

Setting time: 60-90 mins
Light foot traffic: 3 hours
Bonded floor covering: After 2 days dependent on thickness.

Fibre plan
Water-bored ultra-fast hardening self levelling fibre reinforced smoothing compound.
Applications:
Where to use: Fiberplan is used for smoothing and levelling from 3 to 10 mm over adequately anchored wood substrates and wooden boarding where good resistance to loads and traffic is required; Fiberplan is suitable for wheeled chair traffic and for heated floors.
Fiberplan can only be used internally.
Setting time: Levellings with Fiberplan are suitable for
the installation of resilient, ceramic and
wood flooring bonded after 12-24 hours at
+23°C (this time can vary depending on the
temperature and humidity of the
environment).and can be walked on after 3 hrs
Smoothing of old and new timber floors: wooden boarding, chip-board panels, plywood, parquet.
Smoothing cement, terrazzo, old ceramic tile, natural stone substrates.
All substrates, prior to application, require priming. Anhydrite screeds must have the laitance removed.

There are a a few more but those are the ones most likely to be used by tilers. Here is the info I have on the others but I havnt used these so couldnt say what they are like.

Planipatch
Smooth ultr-fast setting thixotopic finishing mortar for horizontal or vertical surfaces (thicknesses from 0-10mm)
Where to use: For the repairing, levelling/smoothing of interior floors, walls, concrete slabs and cementitious screeds, also suitable for use over ceramic tile natural stone and terrazzo coverings, especially suitable where a very smooth finish is required to a feather edge. When mixed with water, it becomes a thixotropic paste, which may be easily applied, has high bonding strength with the substrate and dries so quickly that the application of coverings may be carried out after only 4 to 6 hours of it being applied. Can be mixed with laytex plus to improve the bonding strength to metal surfaces, old rubber floors, PVC, chipboard, parquet, linoleum and similar materials.
Setting time: (Approx) 25mins
Light foot traffic: (Approx) 2 hours
Waiting time before installayion: 4-6 hours

Nivorapid
A composition of special binders, selected graded aggregates and synthetic additives. When mixed with water because an easily workable thixotopic paste with high adhesion.
Where to use: Used for repairing, levelling, smoothing: floors, walls, steps where rapid hardening and drying is required.
Setting time: 20mins
Light foot traffic: (approx) 2 hours
Bonded flooring: 4-6 hours

Laytex Plus
Water dispersion of an extremely flexible polymer with low viscosity.
Where to use: Mixed with Nivorapid/Planipatch to produce a compound with high strength for use on highly deformable surfaces such as PVC, metal< rubber, vinyl, linoleum and wood.
Setting time: 30mins
Light foot traffic: (approx) 2 hours
Bonded flooring: 12-24 hours
