lightning storm

just put the lads to bed then heard a rumble.....what a fantastic light show, had to let the lads get outta bed to watch the lightning and listen to the thunder, probs a good hour or so of fork and sheet lightning with no wind or rain. Power of nature, jeezzzuss, awesome stuff

everything but no rain Doug? rubbish, we need the rain too. but send the thunder and lightning down this way anyway. not seen a good storm for a while.

we had heavy rain this morning Liz, this aft was glorious, followed by some heavy cloud about sunset, and then another high pressure front moved in straight after, awesome

i've not seen proper (fork) lightening for nay on 25 years. i remember being sat in my car near the beach watching it all evening. would love to see that again. amazing

We need some rain here, the farmers are really struggling to get the crops wet. Some sky light with it would be nice! I love the lightning!
