Limestone adhesive thickness and tile spacing

Hi - I am building a wetroom. About to backboard with marmox in preparation for 457x305x10mm Limestone tiles. When sizing up framework for stud walls, ledges and bath frame how much should I allow for the adhesive (both on floor and walls)? Additionally, what spacing do you recommend between a tile of this size and type?

Hi Jack & welcome,

It all depends on the trowel size that you use. But normally if you are to achieve 100% adhesive coverage then you will have 2 to 3mm adhesive thickness.
