Limestone tiling

I am about to start tiling a bathroom with 600 x 400 limestone tiles.
I have stripped the plasterboard from 3 of the walls down to the concrete blockwork, the other wall is a new stud wall which will be fitted with 12mm Hardiebacker boards to take the weight of the limestone.
My question is, can I tile straight on to the concrete blocks and what adhesive would you recommend?

Not the sort of work I'd recommend for a DIY'er!

I would recommend Tilemaster lightweight standard set tilling straight onto the block work wall,spreading the wall and and a skim on the back of the limestone,it isn't fast setting so ideal for DIY and a great adhesive

Thanks for your concern but I have done this before, just not with stone
