If you find that the tiles are going out by a few mm then you can usually make this up around a door lining as you won't notice it in the width of the door. No good if you have tiled from each side of door lining and are going to meet up in the middle, in which case you'll have to open up your joints between each tile a little bit.
Find out how much you are out by & then divide that up by how many tiles you have left in the course...if that makes any sense
