carpet / tiles, theres allready a wooden transition there now, but its about 8 inches wide, and they wanted a Z bar if poss, but plan B would be to cut the wood down to a thiner size, the carpet is new and has gripper along the wooden transistion so not much work involed refitting the thiner wood..
