Looking for work

Had a call tonight and spoke to a kitchen fitter who runs a company who has got 4 years work on replacing kitchens in council propertys, seems to be a lot of that going on down my way at the moment. I'd say to anyone whos a bit short of work keep an eye out for that kind of contract.

Just to add Fred recently put in a thread titled "Advertising" about google business, I done it a couple of weeks ago and have had 2 calls on it so far.

it's all to do with the "decent homes standard" Mark, basically, councils, quite literally, have to get their houses in order and up to a decent standard with an emphasis on energy conservation:smilewinkgrin:

Hopefully should be alot of work, might be splashback bashing but better than nothing

Its all work,nice to get a leg in with people like that as long as you agree the right terms and get paid regularly.Have to be careful out there.

Was doing this type of work at the begining of last year just to fill a cpl of months. I tell you, it messes with your head working on those horrible properties. They are filthy, they smell and the locals generaly try and steal anything you dont bolt down including your van. Its a good job its just slap it on and move to the next one...
