Lovely mapei grout floats

I walked into a local tile shop last thursday night while passing to pick up 300mm sigma blade when i noticed a nice mapei float sitting so i lifted it too.
I put both on my account and left.
Today i was in another branch of the same company lifting levelling compound and primer so i threw money off my account but the manager asked me about the float????? "do you know how much that is Joe?"
I only put them on my account !!!

One mapei grout float..... with my 35% discount.. £38.97 plus vat :yikes:
What a load of ........ !
Anyone else buy one??
same as the raimondi ones at a tenner just with the mapei name on.
I'm not resting on this...

I'm not settling this bill and the manager has emailed someone about it and attached same float on a website at £8 plus vat.
Also on my invoice was the 300mm sigma blade at £146.99 plus vat !!! not nice either but i'v started 90m2 of 600x600x20mm polished marble today.

I had too read that twice before i could believe it! Is it gold plated? It should be for that price....

:yikes: wouldnt pay more than a tenner for a grout float dont get long out of them to justify that price or more than a fiver for a steel trim!

Porcelanosa 10mm chrome trim is £30.75 a length! Trade! Retail price, wait for it.........................................£70!!!!! Now thats a bargain!
