Hi all, Tiler by trade.
Having a home extension done and a plasterer friend of mine kindly offered to do my screed for me. However, he has somehow managed to do it 20mm out of level. Starting off 20mm too low from the mark sloping over 3.5m to 40mm too low. Room length is 5m. Im gobsmacked to say the least and I could have done a better job myself!!!! However, its obviously left me with a problem screed.
Some of the options put to me have been take it all out and start again or SBR slurry/SBR screed with fibres into it, either grinding the floor or scabbling it. I've also been told this might not work???.
SLC by my calculation would prove very expensive.
I would really appreciate some advice and options please. Id rather not take the whole lot up unless it really has to come out.
Thanks in advance
Paul
