making money on supplying tiles

Alright lads, just a quick 1 on how 2 make an extra few quid on jobs. Was just wondering if or how u make money off supplying tiles. Du u tend 2 carry samples around to customers houses then add a few quid on to what u payed for them? Or if u have any other methods I would appreciate any advice. Thanks
