Makita battery grinder

Makita do an 18v battery grinder anyone got any views or use one bit pricey but for jobs with power far away looks good

i got one last year and its been in twice to be repaired,i worked along side a tiler who had the dewalt cordless and it was far superior to my makita cordless in terms of cutting power and battery life hope this helps with your decision good luck gary

If it's the lithium-ion one you mean, I've got one and every time it gets used I end up throwing it back in the van and getting the corded one out.:mad2:

Mind you, I use it mainly for chasing out brickwork and such

It's ok with a fully charged battery, but on half charge seems to stall quite a lot.

In hindsight, I'd stick with a corded variety.

ive got a makita wet tile grinder with a little plastic bottle for water attached if anybody wants to buy it let me know ive only used it a few times

Thanx for replys very helpfull.Hopefully with batteries geting better all the time one day there will be a great cordless grinder
