Mapegum and UFH

Hi newbie here and looking for advice on tanking my wetroom (great site by the way)
I currently have a mat type 200w ufh system embedded in a latex slc and was wondering if using Mapei Mapegum over the top of it would constitute as adequate tanking

Hi

We use Lastogum in conjunct with Flex tap to achieve a good seal - a tape in conjunction with a tanking liquid is a must. Coat twice in opposite directions evenly but liberally. If you aren't using a wetroom base then waterproof matting fixed with tiling adhesive is a good option.

mapei tape applied with mapegum around the perimeter of the room and then a coat or two of mapelastic with mesh.
you cant beat that for tanking a room
