Marking darker tiles

Hi, I am wondering if anyone can help me.

When I need to cut a tile using a wet cutter, I draw the line(s) using a normal felt tip really. But the second I put it in front of a wet cutter, you can probably guess what happens. That line vanishes in a split second.

Is there a special pen or anything that I can use?

Please help, thanks!

As above. I use a pencil or biro, Make sure the line is as thin as can be to get a tight cut and cut on the relevant side of the line, not just down the middle.

Try the above from Trade Tiler

wouldn't be without my white pencil. Some simple things make life so much easier

I sometimes score the stone with the manual cutter as cj does above but i use a light coloured china marker from tradetiler..the wax leaves a mark along the edge of the score which doesnt get washed away.

I am very greatful for all your replies.
This china marker looks like just the thing I need, and tradetiler.com looks like a very useful website.

Thank you.

Another good trick is to mark both ends of the tile and then use masking tape as a line, then just cut down the tape - works a treat!
