Matt/unpolished to gloss

Got a customer who has bought matt/unpolished marble cappucino but now wants gloss. How feasible and effective is it ?

AquaMix do a High Gloss Sealer so you can give them a good clean, whack the Aquamix gear on (couple of coats) and it does give a really nice Gloss Finish! There's a couple of others on the Market that offer the same finish but wouldn't know what they come up like?

Yes tried this on some travertine and it does work well but I am telling client that it would have been cheaper to buy polished marble in the 1st place.

11mtrs Dave. I am telling him it would be more cost effective to buy the tile he wants rather than have to polish what he has but you know the clients always right !

Its what I have said but I reckon he already has the tile. Dunno why I am worrying about it. If its not cost effective to be done then I wont do it. He will either have to live with what he has or fork out for a pro company to hone and polish which will cost more than the tiles and laying combined.

Exactly mate.... not hard to polish up , just time consuming.. and cheaper to buy polished in the first place.

Dont you just hate these people who buy something because its the price they want to pay then expect someone else to make it to what they want...Silk purse out of a sows ear springs to mind.
