I'm due to be tiling a bathroom floor soon. It's onto a cement based screed that runs out about 5mm from the level from one end to the other, that is to say that it undulates.
It's a while since I did a floor and I was just wondering what deviation from the level (not horiaontal but level) you guys allowed for before using the self levelling compound.
Also, there have been some recent burying of pipes, which are quite close to the surface, and the mortar used to bury them is a bit crumbly. I was thinking of bonding this are with SBR prior to applying adhesive. Does this sound sensible?
I bought my Rubi TS 60 Plus today BTW, not a bad piece of kit. Topps tiles beat CTDs promo price!
