I know its probably a dumb newbie question but..

Can I mix and match different manufacturers of tiling adhesives, grouts, SLC etc

or is it best to stick with one brand and/or manufacturer.

Its best to stick to one manufacturer but not always possible.
Using one manufacturers adhesive and another ones grout is the way I work mostly.

I use mainly weber adhesive and bal grouts, not had any issues..

If you mean on a job then I'm not aware that, for example, a BAL adhesive would react badly with a Webber grout or vice versa.
If you are talking about a long term decision regarding whether you should choose to be a 'BAL Guy', or a 'Webber Guy' then that would be a personal decision!!

I use mainly weber adhesive and bal grouts, not had any issues..

I also use mainly Weber adhesives but sometimes use Bal or Ardex grouts dependant on the job.

I always stick by my own rule of using the same Company for primers as adhesives though.

It's not a dumb question!when doing a job I always stick to one manufacturer.(Tilemaster) i don't mix brands!!

i dont think it would matter as adhesive is adhesive and grout is grout but thats when experience is talking and i dont have much of that

Weber adhesive & bal grouts.

Used to be bal all the time but like weber adhesives especially the price compared to bal!!

Nescafé at a push, but prefer Dowie Egberts.
