I wondered if folk would mind giving me their opinions on our plans. We want to have the bathroom re-tiled and a new bath and toilet put in. We currently have square white tiles (see first link) but would like to go for really big, matt white tiles.
First of all, we'd have to get the tiling done first then have the bath fitted, I suppose. But looking at the measurements (second and third links), do you think it would look OK if we used tiles which measured 60x30 - I'm just aware that we'd get two-and-a-bit tiles on each tall wall around the shower and that we'd either have to have cut tiles on the above-basin panel or else widen it by quite a bit. These tiles have no bevel on the edges, by the way.
The other options are 40x30 with a bevel, 31.5x60 with a bevel, 33x45 with a bevel or 40x25 with a bevel.
I would want the tiled parts to be at least as big as the current tiles parts so I don't have to do more painting on the walls.
Thanks for any comments.
