Method of applying sealers ?

So what is your preferred method of applying sealers ?

never done it yet but got shown with a roller,and ad go with a roller,is there a easier way?

I used to use a sponge roller, nowadays I just use a sponge to apply and a rag to remove any excess.

sponge on trav, slate, limestone and a lint free cloth on polish pors.

For polished porcelain walls and floors I use a terry towel cloth to apply and a clean dry one to polish up. For stone floors, I use a 10" roller to apply and a polishing cloths to remove excess....

i use a fine short haired mohair roller but wash in water and dry to remove any loose fibres before use..

I like using a roller and sponge pad but use a brush on most of my jobs when it is a small area, I find that the sponges drink a lot of the sealer.

When i first started out i used a foam roller, but these days i use a paint pad.

got a case of the universeal stuff spray on with an applicator, will never go back to the old way (roller then rub with cloth)

Depends on job / space / tile, have used sponges, block brushes, rollers ( don't like them ) and cloths, I prefer a sponge but will give the pads a try next time.

Paint pads for me after reading about them on here. Easy application with little excess. 2 cloths, one for excess and the other for final polish.

Can depend on the instructions, but I often use a brush and a cloth to get rid of any excess. Do like the idea of a paint pad though. will have to give that a go.
