Metro/bevelled edge tiles

A bit of advice if possible please.
I'm just about to have a go at tiling my bathroom using white ceramic metro style tiles.
The area I'll be tiling is the bath/shower surround tiling 2walls from the bath tub to the ceiling. I'll be using the metro tiles which are 200x100 cms and 6 mm thick and I will do it in the brick bond style.
When planning where to start should I try and make sure that where the end of the bath is where the tiles will stop should I make them all cuts so they have a nicer finish to fit the trim due the different thicknesses or does it not matter.
Also what thickness and type of trim would be best for this and a window I have to tile around.

Internal corners should be scribed ... external finishing edges will have the bevel on show against a trim.. so the trim should suit the middle of the tile thickness.

Hello Dave, cheers for the quick reply. If the thickness is the middle of the tile would the grout hide the difference in thickness going into the trim if some of them are cuts.

It will not hide it ... you cannot disguise the bevel... and you cannot reverse cut either.. just trim and live with the transition difference.

Use an L shaped trim and ensure your cuts are neat.
If you wrap a trim around then like Dave says it shows the bevel. I think it highlights it more personally.

Thanks for your replies. I assume that using the L shaped trim you just butt the tile whether the cut or bevelled edge up to the straight edge of the trim. Also would you then grout or silicone the gap between the tile and trim. Many thanks
