I had a look at the thread about the mitrewiz which looks handy so got in touch with a friend in OZ and he has been in touch with the company who will be making this tool and they have said it will be going into production in about eight weeks and will be looking for a distributor in the UK as my friend is very business like I think he might take it on.

I got in touch with mitre-viz guys in oz about 8 months ago they said will be in production about 8 weeks, has been 8 months still hasn't
why don't you get in touch with them direct. I will buy one of you

1 thing im unshure about with the miter whiz is how do you do the l shaped piece around a window for example. the 2 cuts are tilted in oposite directions.
the diamond ginding disk has a similar problem in that there will be a small but left in th ecorner.
how do you get around this

there is no mitre wizz, and never will be . I'm only waiting for ATS tool as i think it will work well.

Mitre Wizz is like Santa Claus - in the beginning you believe that it's possible for something to be out there that does the job of delivering (mitred corners or presents) but when you're old enough, you realise that it's just your imagination playing games with you.

I'd better pull my finger out then.

I'm waiting for one of my mason customers to start back at work, I can then test our tools on a grinder, a dry flex and a wet flex all in one place. I need to know how it performs on all three so I can give basic advice with the tool when it goes out.

I've got a few sizes of guide washers to try, once we've got the the right size we can produce them within a week (well I say we - a small precision engineering firm laser cut them for us).

I'll then have about 20 available.

I think the ATS one would be a lot more accurate than a Mitre Wizz, plus it's actually in the final stages of production. :lol:
