If I'm mixing a small amount of screed I use a plasterers tub and use an old belly drill which has a slow speed and a paddle which is different to the plasterers paddle. Would'nt buy either well sussed in that department:smilewinkgrin:

Interesting,the second one looks like it might be good for mixing up thick set which doesn't mix up well with a regular paddle but I will still stick to my regular method for deck mud as I don't like the consistency when mixed in a bucket.The quickcrete looks a bit sloppy in the first one.I wonder how it would work with a useable mix,at least he would have to wedge the bucket to stop it from spinning.I miss my 5 gallon buckets.Can you get them here?

Yes you can...Most tile shops will sell them...

Second one looks a pig to keep clean.

I keep another bucket of water handy to buzz the whisk through..........but it still need a slap with a hammer now and then............until it breaks that is :incazzato:
