After the success of tilersforums.com I decided to create forums for other trades as some of you may already know.
They're starting to get members register now though not all as popular as each other they're still getting members.
www.electriciansforums.co.uk has a new electrician as administrator and the www.ukplumbersforums.co.uk has ugg197h as moderator and www.carpetfittingforums.co.uk has nobody so far though one member with 17 years experience in flooring and floor fitting has just had the offer put to him and I think he'll accept.
I'm looking for one or two more to join the team on each site and thought I'd ask on here first as I know some of you are qualified in trades other than tiling.
A moderator would simply move posts that are in the wrong forum, remove posts that are outright advertising or automated spam posts and welcome new members - though the need for an experienced trader is due to the need to get questions answered quickly and start good debate.
If anybody is interested, has questions or would like more info then please reply to this or private message me or email me on [email protected]
Not all applicants would be accepted and the positions are based on a trial period. You don't need too much training so to speak if you can use the forum system already but I will stick by you for a few weeks to make sure you're OK with the few extra features.
If you would like to start a forum based around any subject then give me a shout and I'll look into it with you. Though I'm trying to think about the existing forums during 2008 now tilersforums.com has the great team it has.
Thanks for reading.
