Mosaics

Hello all, I have got to lay some mosaic sheets onto a shower wet room floor, only about 1.5m/2.
If it was to be tiled with normal tiles, I would use a 10 trowel so I can meet the adjoining tiled floor..
What trowel should I use for the the bed.. Or how would you approach this.
The floor is flat, but has a 10-20mm fall towards the drain.

Yes... I have laid the rest of the bathroom with bigger tiles.

Yes mate, but only been self employed since feb.. This is a first for mosaic on floor in such a situation as this.

Excellent - good luck, you've come to the right place!

For what it's worth I'd just build up to the edge of the field tiles with a fast set waterproof adhesive and accentuate the slope to the outlet.

How thick are the mosaic...

I would say about 6 - 8mm, they are the stone style ones.. Not the farty flimsy ones.

3-4mm trowel if they go up to 8mm

Come on Dave ! This is exactly what a forum is for - so everyone can express a view and discuss a subject that we are passionate about . On sites you'll be up against time served tradesman that will give you real stick if your not up to it. We all have our own ways of replying and I thought mine was most considerate! Not sure if your thread was really thought through properly.

Right,if you are tiler and ask what tools need to be a tiler,its something wrong here!Don't worry you are not alone!This forum is for help you to fooling your customers!
