Hi All, I completed my tile training in NE training in June and have been tiling since (just bought a lovely VW transporter Van). Really enjoying it, but had my first complaint today. However after reading to posting of " worst ever jobs" I don't feel too bad. I think there are some people who will always complain no matter what.

This is my first time on here and it is very usefully so hopefully I will become a regular.

Yes welcome MTS that is the van i want when i can afford it . What was the complaint about by the way?

love the transporter, quality van, You must be doing alright mate if youve got one of those! As for complaints - like you say, there are always people that will do anything to find fault with your work. Thats why i always think anybody who says ' Ive never had a complaint in all the years ive been doing my job' is probably bending the truth a little! If you are pleased with it and you know you have done the job in the best possible way, then no point in letting it get you down. But when you know you have made a **** up, best to have the balls to swallow your pride and go back to rectify it

I too love the transporter's, seen a fair few 'pimped' out at car shows although I doubt you'd go tiling in them in any other state than standard hey?

Hold your head up high and deal with the customers concerns the best you can and move on mate.
