Natural Slate Impregnator & Sealer Advice

Hi

I've bought natural slate tiles for my hallway and kitchen.(Homebase) I'm not fitting them myself, but to save on money I wanted to seal them myself. Can anyone recommend a good impregnator and sealer to use? My tiler has recommended Aqua Mix, but wanted to seek advice first. Also is it ok to seal them before fitting?

Cant comment on Aqua mix,but heres a link for ltp cleaners/sealers stocked by Tile Giant.Whatever brand you use make sure its suitable for slate and you follow the instructions.If you have time/budget I would seal before fixing & after grouting.

No probs... then if your tiler prefers Aqua mix then either Sealers choice gold , if you want a colour enhancement then Enrich & seal...

Other brands are available but best to use what your tiler prefers..
