Natural Stone Cutting

Ive been tiling many years now and have recently noticed a sharp increase in natural stone tiling, Currently im borrowing a rubi table saw. im looking for something similar but at over £800 i cannot afford this currently.

What does every one else use for day to day use for smooth cutting with a perfect finish?

Okay thanks guy i shall look into this product. what tiles have you used this with? and what finish edge did it give these tiles?

Travertine, Limestone, slate , porcelain, ceramics all great finish IMO

try a sima perla lot cheaper than rubi

d2400 must be a good bit of kit because i cant find a second hand one anywere. great reviews everywhere. wish i had the pennys for one of these. got myself a norton 800w good bit of kit from hob uk. but so wish i had the dewalt.
need to get saving i think

They crop up on Ebay now and again but it always looks suspicious to me when they are not complete...ie no stand or trays.

Good point. They only had time to grab the saw body.

Ask them a few technical questions to see if they actually know how to use the saw.
