needing a new van

hi all
i need a new van so i can get all my plastering / tiling gear in particually 8 by 4 sheets,does a transit swb fit the bill, id need to slide the sheets in on the floor, looks a bit tight to me,would the mwb be better

I'm sure the transit is designed to fit an 8x4 between the wheel arches, even the SWB model.

I've got a semi high top and I've made racking so all my sheet material, lengths of timber, pipe, tile edging ect can go up there...........leaving the floor space for more tools!:smilewinkgrin:

i was thinking putting a raised floor to slide sheets in, ive got a vivaro thats spoken for
sheets have to go in side ways , which means loading and un loading when i need a few sheets in

Lovely van drive a vivaro, but like you say not the best for sheet materials + every day bit and bobs along with your tools. I can't vouch for the ford transit Semi high top enough, can get everything + more in it. Il go to the merchants on the Monday and will fit everything from toilet, basin, sheet materials, pipes, tiles, timbers, sand, cement, adhesive + more and tools and bits and bobs
