She's beautiful. Im tempted to buy my boy a pup for Christmas but unsure what to get. Are they good dogs to train?

iv'e done a lot of research before buying her, there ideal dogs for family's, there not a big dog but we didn't want anything to big, and although there a terrier there not as hyper as a jack Russell, they will take as little or as much walking as you want to give them, and are renowned for being very protective of there owners and property.
