Is it best to tile a wall before the WH basin and WC cistern is fitted?

Thanks for that advice guys. So what about the bath? I'm assuming its tile after the bath is fitted....but maybe I should be tiling first with a batten in place. All advice is really appreciated!

in the uk we tend to tile after the bath is in place.
in Germany they tile the whole bathroom then fit the bath like a wet room they tank it all out to prevent leaks to floors below and rooms below.

Bath in first....solidly...flexible tape from wall and 12mm onto bath then tank down onto it so the tiles and silicon cover the tanking edge. Tank higher if there's a shower above the bath. Tile rest of walls and floor before wc and units. This way if they get damaged and you cant find exact ones in future you don't have to retile. Also, it saves us tilers from worrying about damaging them when working in there!!!
