I tiled a black and white path recently where one neighbour had a new path in the style of a black and white victorian path, there was next to no budget so the tiles sourced where a sheeted black and white 48x48mm mosaic with a black 148x148 perimeter tile instead of using the traditional style tiles, the next door neighbour had her path damaged by the first ladies builder and my customer asked me to tidy her path up as she refused to pay for a full refurb job ( new concrete base and reclaimed tiles installed )which what was needed ,the new path was prepped and the levels were straightened out by me but the old path levels are all over the place so i had to try to match one into the other which proved to be the hardest part of the job ,i did make a school boy error ion the new path by extending the tiling too far past the property boundary but realised and altered it
here are a few pictures of the job I wish I could have done a full restore on the older path but as I said earlier I was told just to tidy it up
