new paddle mixer, anybody used one of these?

my paddle mixer finally kicked the bucket, needed a new one asap so got this one from local supplier. Not used it yet, has anybody got one and are they okay?

I tried taking bushes, or are they brushes? outta my other to change them, springs and washers flew everywhere, so I binned it :lol:

Haven't heard any reports about them , but I use the evolution mixer and find it very good !

Funny the plasterer i was working with in devon last week had the same we used it for most of the work but when i got one of my REFINA 1800w out we never see it again and the guy wanted to know where to get-one like mine lol :smilewinkgrin:

Another vote here for the evolution. I've had mine for about 4/5 years, and it's still going strong, although it's just starting to grind a little.. Best thing about it is the variable speed. Lots of mixers out there don't have this!?!

No mate, only available in 240. Decent bit of gear for the money though. Only had it 3 months so I'll see how it lasts.

i had to change the brushes on one of mine once think it was about ten years ago might have to change them on the new one soon had it about ten years now :smilewinkgrin:

Never changed the brushes on mine but had a couple of triggers to replace that must over 13 years at least I've owned my Refina....

Yes Mark but mine were mixing 100 bags a day 7 days a week
